During the 2020 health crisis, Navro Allen (Founder of ACES) became aware that many of the student-athletes within the NA2 Athletics program were encountering mental health, educational, and social issues. Through this awareness, Navro Allen and the NA2 Athletics Corporation started a non-profit organization called Athletic Committed Enlightened Scholars (ACES), which was officially established in December 2022.
The mission of the ACES program is to help student-athletes cope with any sport related mental health issues, achieve educational success, and diversify socio-emotional skills. ACES accomplishes its mission by establishing peer counseling groups and workshops and with the aid of volunteer social workers, teachers, and therapists. This is how Athletes Triumph with ACES!!!!
